Re: My mead exploits

Ok, I've become slightly obseesed with mead of the blueberry sort. Mostly because I had two pounds of honey and half a box of frozen blueberries left, along with an empty 2 liter of ginger ale. Anyways, another recipe. 1. 2 lbs Honey 2. 1/4 cup brown sugar 3. Half box of blueberries 4. 1/2 teaspoon ...

Re: My mead exploits

Good start i guess :D added a lil cinamon and some more brown sugar, capped it in another bottle, and gonna let it sit for a ...

Re: My Wine Exploits

Well I clarified and bottled it up. Had to mix in more sugar and some spices to make the taste what I wanted. Now gives a very nice rhubarb cinnamon hint. Friends described their like of it as "a really good cheap some". I'm aging a good bit of it till my birthday in June. Very happy with ...

My Wine Exploits

Well as I posted in the cider posts, I have a batch of strawberry rhubarb wine. I recently put it in the fridge to begin clarifying. The recipe, as well as I can remember it, includes .7 liters of rhubarb juice (homemade) and .7 liters of strawberry juice $store bought fruit then juices at home). Mi...
